About Medical Writing

Medical writing is a fast developing discipline, which involves:

• Writing communication material for the medical/related sciences.

• Converting medical data into communication (print, web or multimedia) for

professionals, patients, regulators, students or the general public.

 

The U.S department of Labor Bureau of Statistics predicts job opening for medical writers and editors will grow faster than any occupation through 2010.

But People with higher calibre are in higher demand in different industry because companies are not looking to put the resources into training people from the ground up.

So there is a huge gap between demand of trained medical writer and the supply.
